Township Board

The Township Board advises the township Trustee concerning matters pertaining to the civil township.

They examine & approve, in whole or in part, the annual report of the township trustee and keep a record of all business transacted at all meetings. They also make appropriations & establish tax rates & levies for the ensuing year.

Additionally, they make emergency appropriations as the need or emergency arises.

Finally, they set salaries, wages, rates of hourly pay, and remuneration other than statutory allowances of all officers and employees of the township (except the assessor and his deputies and employees).
