Pension Board

The Pike Township Fire Department Pension Board was established in accordance with Indiana Code § 36-8-7-3 and is composed of seven trustees.  The trustees are: two ex-officio members (the Township Trustee and the Fire Chief) and five members elected by the sworn members of the Fire Department, consisting of one retired member and four active members of the fire department.  The Pension Board manages the firefighters’ pension funds, known as the 1937 fund and the 1977 Police Officers’ and Firefighters’ Pension and Disability Fund.
